Obaseki was not the APC gubernatorial candidate in Edo's last governorship election.

I believe Obaseki represented PDP.


And by the way, cross-carpeting is acceptable if there is a proof that the party one is crossing over from, has been factionalized or in a massive internal dispute situation.
