About 12-14years...... Once upgraded it to 4g sim....... Its airtel

Since 2004 , MTN......I have done numerous well come back ....lost several phones, robbed thrice...

16 yrs. No Sim retrieval done. The sim is as white as snow. Had to use a scissors to cut the sim to a micro size.

That means you use a either a non andiod phone or if you do, your phone may have 4g but you are not enjoying its potentials as your sim is 3g.
You need to upgrade your sim card.

2004. carried the vmobile tag till I needed to upgrade to 4g in 2019 & had to buy new recovery sim. Still have the vmobile sim till date. Loved vmobile branding so much.

Airtel sim is as old as Econet in Nigeria, same with 9mobile, as old as Etisalat.
Mtn is 17yrs
Did only one sim swap for the etisalat because I don't like the rough edges from cutting to micro then nano size.
That Airtel and Mtn, I can't recollect how many times I've retrieved it, I once retrieve the Airtel(Celtel) twice within a day. I misplaced my phone same day I did a retrieval, I got another sim pack, called the customer care, the lady was like the retrieval has been done thinking I wasn't aware, I just told her that I knew, gave her the details and the lady felt pity for me.
Anytime I called Airtel then, they call my name before I even introduce myself.

Mtn = twenty something years. Airtel= 14 years. Glo= 5 months

Bought my first mtn line for close to N49,000 08032. when they use disk casing. Second line I bought but never use was glo, I dashed my uncle and that was 2004. The sane year I bought mtn. Fast-forward to 2008 I embraced Airtel. The current Airtel line now is 14 yrs. The glo I despised so much 18 years ago is what I am using as second sim now

That's good, some of us are not that lucky

If you are using an old SIM and haven't upgraded it, you can't access 4G services.

my mtn is 11 years old now. 2011 till date.

It will be 16 by Oct . My lovely dad got it for me for about 36k in 2006

I say I became a regular costomer in der office of sim replacement they just tell abeg bring my mama name and d pry sch I attended so dat I will not be going to get police reports again cause honestly it was too much
Even PUK 2 dat they don't give out I was given making d sim useless for them can't be transferred to another person if I don't use for a long time (Mtn Na scam Abeg them never give me gift before)

I'm using Glo line since 2006, I lost my phone 2014 I couldn't retrieve with reasons, I'm switched to Mtn 2014 (8yrs). Never lost neither retrieve.

MTN, bought it 2004, never lost the Sim since I bought it. I am still using it
