2023 PRESIDENCY : WE NEED AKPABIO (Benue Youths Demand)

It was a remarkable day in Markudi the capital of Benue State as Youths of Benue State in their numbers turned out under the platform of ONE NIGERIA MOVEMENT FOR GODSWILL AKPABIO to declare support for the Honorable Minister Of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio, taking the message into the streets of Markudi the capital of Benue State.

Speaking to the media The State Coordinator Mr Kene Tersor Stated that it was time for youths in the North Central to take their stand as the days draw closer to APC National Convention.

The State Coordinator who noted that senator Akpabio is unarguably the best bet for his party and best choice for the people of Nigeria, said he was amazed at the level of support gotten so far from youths in northern parts of the country such as Kebbi, Sokoto, Kaduna etc speaking the same mind and language of uncommon transformation about the former Governor of Akwa Ibom State.

While making reference to some of the outstanding projects of the Hon. Minister, the state coordinator applauded the minister for his achievements, from his days as Governor till date and maintained that he is convinced beyond reasonable doubt that if offered a higher platform Senator Akpabio will do more and position Nigeria in the world map just like he did to Akwa Ibom State. “Akwa Ibom state is known to us in Benue because of the legacies of Senator Akpabio, I have been to the state and indeed, I can say that Senator Akpabio deserves a chance to Lead this country to its promised land, Today we are taking it upon ourselves as representatives from the 23 Local Government Areas of this state to match in solidarity as we seek for a credible candidate for 2023 presidential elections, Senator Akpabio we all know has delivered and is known all over the country for his good works. THIS IS THE MAN WE NEED.”

Also Speaking in response to the Benue state Coordinator of the ONE NIGERIA MOVEMENT FOR GODSWILL AKPABIO, Abasifreke Ekanem (Spencer Ekanem), the progenitor of One Nigeria Movement For Godswill Akpabio noted that the movement has witnessed massive acceptance and today Benue State has shown readiness to be part of this Uncommon movement seeking for credible leadership.

It can be recalled that the youths of Kebbi state had earlier declared the Honorable Minister, Senator Godswill Akpabio Wanted for the post of President after which Sokoto state followed same. On the news, Cross River state from the south have called on the minister to join the race and today in North Central, Benue state youths have shutdown the streets of the state capital calling on the Honorable Minister to join the race for Presidency come 2023 General elections.

“We hereby urge the Minister to respond to this CALL TO SERVICE by declaring intentions for the post of president in the next general elections as we shall not stop yearning for good governance and a taste of Uncommon Transformation in Nigeria.”
