It's so embarrassing...

I once worked for one Edo man in adamawa.
He shout at everyone, including his wife, not minding the number of customers around and the people around.

It's just too embracing.

Please I discovered long ago that I am very temperamental and don't like being shouted on especially when I know I am in the right.

I usually flare up at my boss for shouting on me and this doesn't seem right although it is true bosses shouldn't shout at their employees.

How do you cope with this at your workplace?
Just walk away, he LL get the message. Embarrass him before he embarrass you

Before I became my own boss, I used to walk out on them when they start shouting or talking rudely to me. Sometimes I shout back. Kpata kpata na sack.

Then I was still young and staying with my parents. So I damned the consequences. Even the last one, I was already staying alone but I picked up my bag and walked out on the director as she was shouting.
It was after that I prayed that I was never going to work for anyone again. That God should establish me. God answered and today, I don't face such. The highest would be to dialog with a school director and resolve it amicably.

It can be traumatizing.
In fact na the number 2 thing wey chase me out of Naija after Armed Robbers.
Insult too much for Naija.
No human dignity at all.
Mine hit me both for private & Federal Government sector.
Meanwhile,
Armed Robbers recycle me for Naija well well.

It never bothered me, payday was coming so why should I get emotional. In the corporate world you're going to work with calibre of strange people, if you're emotional they will say you have no leadership trait.

When they shout, I'll close work and head to beer parlour and be thinking of my future and which company to jump to.

This is the second time you'll be doubting and questioning my profession... In fact you tagged me a liar the last time when i stated what I do for a living and I've been watching you since then.

How old are you?

For your info, I'm an educational consultant and I also teach on part-time basis.. It is different from full time teaching. I render services on contract and our working terms and conditions differ.
We work fewer hours, close in time and and earn more.

So... You get it??
