The Member Representing Aniocha North Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi, has counselled the Women of Aniocha North Local Government Area, to always uphold the ideals of Motherhood, stating that GOD has special regard and blessings for Women, hence HIS work of creation was not complete until HE created Woman out of Man.

The Honourable Member duly acknowledged the important roles Mothers play in their families, as well as in every human society, including the field of politics, insisting that time has come for Women to free themselves from all encumbrances to assert their rightful positions in the society.

Speaking as a guest Lecturer during the workshop organised by the PDP Women Leader in the Council Area, Hon. Mrs Nkem Ogbechie, prior to Mothers' Day Celebration in the Local Government, the highly respected Omu Anioma, Her Royal Majesty, Obi Martha Dunkwu, admonished Women to strive to be total and complete, in every aspect of their lives, maintaining that such completeness is the only quality that will earn them, more respect from the Menfolk, as well as place them at the higher rung of every field of Human endeavour.

Obi Dunkwu advised the participants to shun any act capable of bringing their families to disrepute, even as she blamed the prevalent moral decadence among the Children and Youths in our societies these days on Mothers, who have woefully failed to closely monitor the activities of their Children, who in most cases are closer to them than their fathers.

Other speakers in the event that took place at the Unity Hall, Issele-Uku, under uncommon convivial atmosphere, include the Chairman, Delta State Civil Service Commission and a renowned Political Leader, both at the Local and State levels, Chief Patience Nkem Okwuofu, the erstwhile Chairman, Delta State House of Assembly Service Commission, Ezinne, Chief Barr. Mrs. Josephine Ada Kachikwu, the Delta State PDP Women Leader, Madam Kanyinwulia Omoko, the PDP Chairman, Aniocha North Local Government Area, Dr. Charles Ochei and others.
