In November 2019,bello broke the igala dominance and retain his seat as a minority from the ebira in kogi central.he won 12 out of the 21 LGAs in the state.he won 3 out of the igala LGAs and stopped the igala from giving pdp bloc votes while getting bloc votes from his ebira people...
In 2023,he can choose to give the apc ticket to the igala esp his loyal deputy or give it to a fellow minority in okun or lokoja federal constituency.... If he does the latter, kogi west needs to deliver bloc votes plus bloc votes from the ebira to get the victory...

The Okuns don't have the votes to challenge but I think anywhere Bello pushes it to, that zone will win.

I feel like the Okuns should get it, just been a bit biased.

Yorubas have book intelligence but are lacking largely in native intelligence and no tribal code, am Yoruba and I know this. Remove hausa from fulani and we're the largest ethnic group in Nigeria but unlike the northerners we don't have that native intelligence and tribal code and political apathy is high. Igbos have that native intelligence and tribal code but it's largely due to the civil war that enforced it in them. Tribes of the SS also have this because of their size. But not Yoruba......if we can fix this having an okun governor in kogi wouldn't even be an issue, we'd be having our people as presidents in Benin republic, Togo and the even ghana.

I'm hearing okun is a minority in kogi state for the first time from you. I don't think you mean to say it.

The biasness stems from the fact that you served in okun land. What dobyou mean NY okun dont have the votes to win?

They have the least voting strength in Kogi and are not very religious in their voting compared to others.

What I mean is that they don't turn up massively to vote.

My brother, voting strength does not reallyy matter. It is who turns out or who inflates the most votes

My brother, the igala dominance was just too much.whichever way, bello reelection opened up the political space. If the igala get back power,it will be hard before they relinquish it

Dey there dey wait for directive evidence....if you can show me evidence that bail is free from police custody or payment for bail then I can show you that....if you happen to be on ground and involve deep in the election you won't come here and be asking what you are asking for except you are one of bello's rodent who want to score a cheap point...even ordinary people on the street in kogi knows what happened in that sham election....!!!

But what about the loss of lives. Is it worth it to lose lives simply to open up political space?
Bello was a misnomer that shouldn't have been allowed to happen if not for the ethnoreligious tendencies of the power brokers in collusion with inec. Faleke should have been allowed to continue the mandate which would have seen Okun take over govt house as you wished

See, Garfield, politics for your kind that understand it's rudiments.

Most importantly those who inflates the most vote and that has to a large extent possible when the one inflating the vote is in line with those at the centre...!!! Nothing like free and fair...all nah cruise but you need have the voting power or strenght/number to inflate as desired....!! grin

Not only that some power brokers too in okun land don't want the lagos boy to come and over shadow them and had to collude with the centre to take him out...same happen with the igalas...those who felt agreived with the emergence of Audu where happy he died and played out his team cos to them they felt Bello would be docile and better handled as an inexperience politician and a small boy....reverse is the case today....!!

Very far from possible considering the vote spread...Ebira are the minority of the three major tribes in that state...ebira and okun are like water and oil...!!

In a free and fair election non can defeat the igalas in that state....those igala people play politics like the northerners and any among then who go against them are labelled traitors just like their current deputy governor who couldn't even win his polling unit despite all the monies he brought down...!!
