I always thought about this, a lot of unsecured barren lands, easy for terrorist to take advantage of. We need to start thinking of what to do with our forests, and barren lands.

Nigeria's main problem is disorganisation. Nation building, especially for an important Nation like Nigeria isn't going to be cheap. The world does not seem to want a powerful black nation to emerge. Dangote's refinary will be sabotaged, all the new railways too. Nigeria needs border control and the parks and forests you mentioned can and should be fenced. The huge wild life parks in South Africa are fenced. The excuse can be made that bandits, terrorists, thieves and such can cut or destroy these fences; however, in Organised societies, monitoring such as patroling would be added to the fencing package since the fencing was undertaken originally in response to bandits, terrorists etc.

Right now, though, it is Essential that those responsible for this attack are cought. Nigeria should ask for the help of forensic and investigatory police forces from the UK, America or willing Nations abroad. Doing this is no shame. It is the practice, I've watched on news, undertaken by Nations that have been similarly impacted by major National catastrophe.

Some freaking dumb ass doesn’t have the decency to see what he could do to assist the poor lady but was more interested in snapping. Even the poster is no different.

Freaking swines!

Child of anger! Masquerading as a moralist. Did you people not ask for bodies when people were shot at Lekki Toll Gate? Now that you have bodies, you are turning moralist because your narrative of 'no lives were lost' cannot be sustained in the face of evidence. Shame on you! Did you not know the incident happened in the bush at night? What could anybody do other than record the tragedy before their eyes for the rest of the world to know the depth of destruction Nigeria has sunk into under your paymaster? The face was not even captured, but you would have wished they did not record anything at all so it would be easy for you to perpetuate your lies.

Any country where you cannot scramble armed response to a location to combat terrorism, banditry, invasion or even common armed robbery in 30 minutes is too large. Break it up into manageable pieces.

A survivor said the assault on that Abuja-Kaduna train lasted 2 hours before the army arrived. It is a sign of a failed state that criminal activities will be going on for hours and the state will have no response until full damage has been done. That is why we have banditry, Boko Haram, bank robbery etc waxing strong. What is the use of a govt if they cannot protect the territories they govern?

Some robbers did a daredevil operation in SA sometime ago and raided a bullion van. An armed response came in a helicopter in minutes. They followed and sprayed the fleeing vermins with bullets from above. Not one escaped. Others would think twice before trying it. That is a state.

Why do we have helicopters for VIP movement and we do not have helicopters that can be scrambled to crime scenes in minutes? Collect all those VIP movement helicopters and deploy them into saving what is left of this country now before it is too late.

Tokotaya:
Video clips from the terror attack on a Kaduna-bound train on Monday have started emerging.

Many of them are very distressful and depicted the extent of the violence unleashed on the passenger service by the armed bandits.

One of the clips (below) showed a woman in braids still strapped to her seat with her head slumped. She was apparently killed by some of the bullets sprayed on the coaches.

Shattered glass all over a seat in a coach
Another clip (also below) shows the full extent of the damage on Coach 4 of the passenger service. The coach was believed to have taken the full hit of the explosive device planted on the track by the armed bandits.

The video shows jagged iron, tumbled chairs and blown out upholstery of the interior of the coach. Those seated in the coach would be lucky to be alive.
