Arguably, this is the first time I would actually be very, very happy we lost a football match. The joy inside of me is astronomical! Now there is a chance if nothing is done about the alarming economic and security concerns of Nigeria by this summer of no football, the people would do something. Fingers crossed . . . 1 Like |

Nothing is going to happen Nigerians are not interested in good government, good leadership. They are only interested in their side winning, so that they can benefit from chopping money. Even if we split the country, the new countries will have the same problem Lord knows , that's why I don't take APC and PDP serious, and refuse to vote for them. At the end it is not about development, it is about money. |

tekjansen2: @ the emboldened: True. @ the italicized: same problem, but different dimensions . . . right now, the absurdities are just phenomenal ( to use a modest adjective). |

Football is about losing and winning, so it is normal, they should not beat themselves over that.. 1 Like |

I think you could be more happier if Buhari could just throw in the towel and resign honourably. It's not a must for Buhari to serve out his tenure 1 Like 1 Share |

tekjansen2: Whether you choose to split Nigeria up or not, the country known as Nigeria will eventually implode from within. You think that these Fulani herdsmen terrorists from the Sahel will stop their killings in the village? It will soon get to the cities. By the time you are dragged out of your homes in the cities by AK-47 marauding Fulani herdsmen from the Sahel, no one will remind you people to break up this country. |

dasparrow: Look, you can split Nigeria into one hundred bits...the same issue of people wanting their side to win so that they can chop will STILL be there. The problem is, we think there is a national cake that must be shared. The splitting of Nigeria self...ninety percent of you guys will promptly drop secessionism when your side has a chance of winning. Even the herdsmen crisis....is part of the problem. You Nigerians should sort out yourselves, instead of you coming to threaten me with Fulanis because I don't agree with you. |

Rollsnjaguar: Be honest, you and your hausa and yoruba pals are interested in one thing and one thing only. Who gets a share of cake, not development Secessionist and terror bandits are a product of that attitude That's why until we get rid of the idea there is cake to be shared, we are going to see more and more problems |
