Nonsense you are witnessing it from the head itself, yet you are in still denial of how Civil Servants hide money?

What of the Afonja former head of NSA, that kept $42 million dollars in a flat in Ikoyi Lagos State?
You haven't answered my question yet, why hide cash in such manner if it is legitimate.

EFCC is more interested in shaking down smaller yahoo boys for settlement . . .they are so engrossed in that oppressive operation without proper investigation nor prosecution . . . any good lawyer will run circles round EFCC's prosecutors in any competent court . . . throw in a justice-for-hire judge . . . case closed!

Our youths don't have thinking skills. Everybody here is shouting but nobody has mentioned the law. He was charged with a particular crime and the EFCC could not prove it so he has to be acquitted. He said the money was accumulated gifts from persons. No money was found missing in the discharge of his duties. It is not enough to be sensational and shout, you also have to provide evidence. Giving gifts to public officers is not against the law. It is only against the law when it is given for them to do or not to do their duty. EFCC would need to show that the money is not his and where it came from. He can simply say that it is accumulated cash savings, he doesn't have to prove otherwise. The same thing with Tinubu and bullion van...it is not an offence for bullion van to enter your compound o! You have to prove what it was carrying and so many other things. The way the law works is different from emotional sensationalism. The law is meant for both the innocent and the guilty.

A Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday discharged and acquitted a former Group Managing Director, GMD, Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Andrew Yakubu from the $9.8 million corruption charges brought against him by the Federal Government.

Justice Ahmed Ramat Mohammed in a judgment ordered the huge foreign exchange seized from him in 2017 and kept at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) be refunded to him forthwith.

The Judge held that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which put Yakubu on trial, failed woefully to establish that he held the money over and above the threshold allowed by law.

Justice Mohammed further said that the evidence of the witnesses of the anti-graft agency created gap of doubts which must be resolved in favour of the defendant.

In the UK we have a law that requires the culprit in this case Andrew Culprit to provide evidence on how he acquired such wealth on his salaries, even gifts must be explained.

It is called unexplained wealth law, it will be hard to enact this law in Nigeria because all the politicians will be required to explain the source of their wealth.

Bribery and corruption in high places.
What is the USD9.8m doing in an uncompleted building in the slum?
