You guys are not even ashamed of comapring a country that got her Independence in 1776 and the other who got her's in 1960.
In US and most developed Nations, they have private sector driving economy and practice capitalism system which can't be sustained here. People pay for everything in US and Western systems; citizens live comfortable life there but find it difficult to save due to taxation of almost everything.
However, 70yrs old Nigeria have all the potential to match Western development at the time we are as old as they're today.....

Most of the things we call projects here are infrastructure by Local Gov'ts, States and the Private sector in the US.

The President of the USA don't award contract or get involved in running importation, distribution or marketing of petroleum products, construction of power generation or distribution companies.
