Some people claimed they verified with their loved ones and had called several times to confirm. Most gave me stories about who they called and gave me the confidence it was genuine. I just feel bad things turned out this way.

5. My point is, if the government has failed us in nigeria, shouldn't free media like nairaland and other blogs do more to earn the trust of people that come here for information? Though not a regular blogger, i am more than  happy to suppoort in any capacity I can to verify claims and prevent  possible scams like this in future. The government has really failed us. Immigration, Police Force, EFCC, Human Trafficking Agency and the likes all failed us. Some people claimed they saw immigration officers come to visit Crystal Service, what did they actually come to do is what I don't understand? Some claimed Anti-Human Trafficking agents were there to confirm the legitimacy of the program and am still surprised things turned out like this. There are so many unclear issues which may remain mysteries to everyone for a long time.

 This is over and over, nothing more. I told some applicants who still had high hopes that if they continue to believe a miracle will happen, then they need to be seriously beaten. Anyone who does not get the picture now needs to be slapped a hundred times. The only thing left to do is for applicants to start a proper investigation on how to retrieve their passports. Nobody is going anywhere. If anyone had parted with money, sorry for that person. But if anyone had quit his job and sold his belongings, too bad.

 This no surprise at all. I had said this earlier today as I was informed by some applicants who still had high hopes. They just want to calm people's nerves and make them not act erratically. The saga continues.

I was reading this thread outdoor and laughing out loud (alone) Ain't it funny? How would anybody believe such a scam, I had some friends who fell for it anyways, Dude had told the whole world he was going to canada, I sat him down, asked few questions and fugured out lil things. CS claimed they would be responsible for about 8k people's flight fare to north america? Plus free accommodation hahahaha free rooms for 8k people in canada? lol i admitted they must be a billions of naira organisation who could not afford a domain and using @yaho.com email. Ok, i don't wanna believe 8k people would fall for such, its crazy, my people pls take heart. NIGERIA! Rise upppp sincerely i pity her. No organisation could stand up and figure out those scammers considering how long they spent selling forms. This is not funny coz im sure over 500 people are homeless right now. Alot of people already quitted jobs, some had soled cars, dashed out every shit they got. May God be with them all.

Initially, I did not believe it. I had doubts and I pushed them forward to those who informed me. They gave me a 1001 reasons to believe it was genuine. Some said they have called their loved ones to confirm it; some said they met with pastors who told them it was true; some said a woman was asked to bring N1.5m which was supposed to be the money to returned back to the agency after being taken to Canada when she demanded her passport be given to her and the presence of police also spoken of. I raised the issue of how all the applicants will be moved to Canada, they told me the same way Mecca and Jerusalem pilgrims are moved en-mass. I asked about the accommodation and they told me condominiums were available to take care of that. I could have supported Justwise and the rest but the applicants kept on proving to me that it was genuine. All these information were firsthand. I visited Crystal myself, listened to discussions held by applicants and they all pointed out the reasons why I should believe. Hearing all these, I decided to keep my skepticism to myself and support them. But I was opened to say that anyone with proofs and not just logical reasons should step forward but nobody did except for CanImServ. Everyone was logical in reasoning but applicant gave me facts that they themselves seemed to have verified.  

Good to know that there is some closure coming to this stupidity that could have been prevented if people would listen. The quest for sudden success blinded them all making it difficult for their brains to function as designed; relying on taking some useless risks and believing their gods will make it happen has led them to the expected end. What a shame!

Where is the fool asking us to prove this is a scam and requesting to see the results of our investigations?
Where are the other fools that registered solely to defend this obvious scam?
Where are those other fools that refused to heed the warnings despite several abuses targeted at those they should be praising?
Who is the fool expecting government to prevent this kind of scam despite all help here, and when government is yet to find solutions to bigger problems facing the nation?
And where are the fools waiting to be the next victims of some other kinds of scams?

Very very difficult for an informed mind not to identify there is a problem with this scheme, people have written about taking risks here but refused to add that it must be informed and calculated risk so they don't get their fingers burnt.

It is getting tiresome working on young people of nowadays and teaching them that there is no shortcut to success; often times you want to give up and leave them to their fate but for the "inner fight" that is so disturbing and uncomfortable to deal with.

Whatever category the crystal services people belong, there is no way the Canadian goverment is allowing shipping of even 1,000 Nigerians to Manitoba or wherever. The visas issued under the skilled worker program at the CHC Accra does not go beyond 800 every year and this is inclusive of dependents. Not sure under what category the crystal people falls.

The Manitoba PNP does not seem to fit what has been listed by crystal services but the last straw for me is the hospitals to do the medical - St Nicholas in Lagos and National Hospital in Abuja! Any medical for any trip whatsover to Canada (whether the visa is issued in Lagos or Accra) must be conducted in Lagos either with Asaju or Yaba clinic and in Abuja with Zankli clinic. This is not negotiable and anything contrary to this will definitely be a red flag.

I never saw your comment until now, but I believe some applicants saw it and yet did not take further steps to verify. This is a forum where people choose to believe whatever they want. Even if I am the only that agrees with my reasons, that's fine, sue me. BTW, am not angry, I expected insults to come.

This is a drama! CS Agents must be very brilliant to have scammed so many Nigerian with the hope to live as domo elite. I pity the wicked in heart! Well, am feeling relief cos my friends are not so worried again. I have known them for over 26 years now and we aways share our pains and joy. They dont like visiting nairaland cos they believe it will give them heart break, not untill today at the national theatre that a man said he paid #500,000 and another woman who said she paid 1.5million. She further said the applicants in Ghana has travel since last week that her sister who lives in Ghana told her that. Some people will still hope till they die! The drama will continues for a week. I dont know much about immigration but i know this is not possible!.

@Cipriani, the only sentence that makes meaning to me among all your new posts is- "Nevertheless I am ashamed of myself", but one good sentence should follow it- "I am sorry". Like you said, we make mistakes every day, but we should be able to tender apology, and learn our lessons. All the reasons you gave, for abusing people and for supporting this scam, as if you were very sure of it, were not enough to explain your actions. Just apologise, and move on; I believe you have learnt your lessons. The same advice goes for others who abused those opposed to the scam, and defended the program. Just a piece of advice.

It's a pity, I have friends who fell victim of this scam. I almost did myself but because I have little doubting Thomas attitude, that saved me. Government needs to look into this issue, especially for the fact that a well recognized financial institution is involved.

Hey GTBank was never involved with crystal service for any BTA loan. Haba 7000 applicant for free, did CS chatter a free flight or are they leaving by ship.
If it was 200 applicant, that would b sensible. I hope today dailies get to shed more light on it today after a thorough investigation

Are you a CS agent? Are you  reading these posts but you are too ashamed to show your faces? You made my nephew and some 7,000 others to buy some silly looking "guinea" material for #3000.00 per person. My understanding is it is not worth even #700.00. You made them cough out some #2000.00 for a piece of dirty looking paper you call medical certificate. These are some of the ways you made money from them knowing fully well that your programme wasn't taking them anywhere. You may claim you did not charge any money, but you sure were deceptive. And that's a fact. I have a word of advice for you-

Make no mistakes about it, you have ruined the lives of thousands. To you, you are smart, now rich and successful. How wrong you are! Success comes with hard work, dedication and patience. Stop calling the name of God when you are doing things like this. There is a word for it in English. LIARS. Beg your God for forgiveness otherwise you'll end up like those rogues in government with some sad ending, their families included.

GT  = Guaranty Trust. Not sure how you'd chase them unless you knew someone who worked for the bank.

I somehow doubt GT Bank would be directly involved in this kind of thing.  If it's anything like the booking of the National Theatre, it probably never happened.

Did you get names or attend the meeting? Have you verified that the bank officials and the immigration official present were genuine?

Well, I don't have much to say on here , all i know is Crystal have really disappointed many of us, but they keep giving people high hopes, i wouldn't have been in this mess if not for the trust i had in my Agent , i went to his house this morning with serious anger , after several calls , he made me to understand that CS is real , but they are having problems with their logistics. To everyone in the house , I Apologize for some previous comment i have made , especially to justwise, but the fact remains that, This CS scam is STRANGE, my agent made me to understand that the Visas are READY. , if you are one of the Applicant what will you do ?
