Asked to state when the party would refund monies for expression of interest and nomination forms to aspirants who stepped down at the March 26 national convention as directed by President Muhammadu Buhari, Senator Adamu said, “We are meeting with them.”

He added, “We have met some of them already. We will forge understanding and unity.”

The question asked required a simple yes or no since that was the promise made to the aspirants before the convention. Why are you still meeting with them? What's difficult in refunding their money? Those guys have been scammed. APC can't even keep it's promises to it's members. How will they keep their promises to Nigerians?

One of the planks upon which APC campaigned and got elected was restructuring. Those who were hoodwinked, were the southerners, who took in everything, hook, line and sinker.

Nigerians were made to believe that GEJ was a weakling and extremely corrupt person, who ran a very corrupt government. Nigerians were made to believe that PMB was the messiah who would tackle corruption, insecurity and fix the country with a firm assurance that he had the political will.

The rest has become history as they say.

Now we face a national crisis, the magnitude never experienced before, even under the worst democratic and military governments.
