Please I would like to know the meaning of student number. Throughout my stay in ESUT, we were only identified through our matriculation or reg no which was in the format ESUT/ year/ unique no. I am currently filling an application and I am required to put in my student number, when I entered my reg no, it was rejected, telling me that the entered number is in the incorrect format. Please any one who has an idea of what student's number means or how I can get it should please help me.

Your student number format is wrong. You did not include your department.
