This Dog Consumption debate is one of the exact reasons why Africa/Blacks are backward. You hate dog meat just because the white man told you it's not okay to eat it. You are forgetting the fact that it's a cultural thing for them. In Sociology and Anthropology, we were told that no culture is superior that all culture are the same. So it's height of foolishness and a total display of illiteracy if you used your own way of life as a yardstick to measure or judge others.

For your culture to frown upon eating of dog, or see eating of dog as a taboo, doesn't mean that dog is not edible or other culture do not welcome it or there's anything wrong with those who eat it.

In this thread I have seen how people used their culture to judge others because eating of dog meat is seen as a taboo in their culture.

Dog meat are not only eaten by Akwa Ibom and Cross River State people in Nigeria. When you come up north especially the people from Kaduna, Plateau, parts of Gombe, Bauchi, Nasarawa eat dog meat.

Funny enough snake is the only animal that was cursed in the Bible and many people eat snakes and the devil in you did not make you think it's bad, the other animal called pig became a recipient of demons (legion) casted out from a mad man, yet some of the demon eaters would abuse a dog eater. But dog never received the wrath of God.

and they were never satisfied till they had thoroughly searched the Ondo Persons Kitchen and backyard and inspected what was inside their Pot of Soup

If 2 dogs in the Neighbourhood went missing at the same time the local Ondos were definitely in for investigation all their Pleas of innocence often fell on deaf ears

It's not only Akwa Ibom and Cross River, my area in Lagos here. Oke IRA, AJAH...dog meat is a must at least 2ce a week and it doesn't stay up to 1hr. Sometimes we dey book am from cooking pot
