PDP Sets Up Osun State Caretaker Committee

The National Working Committee (NWC) of our great Party has approved the composition of a Caretaker Committee to run the affairs of the Osun State Chapter of our Party.

This follows the expiration of the tenure of the State Executive Committee of Osun State Chapter.

The Osun Caretaker Committee is to manage the affairs of the Party in Osun State from Friday, April 8, 2022 for a period not exceeding 90 days (3 months) or till such a time a new State Executive Committee will be elected in the State.

The members of the Osun State Caretaker Committee are as follows:

1. Dr. Adekunle Akindele = Chairman
2. Otunba Femi Carena = Secretary
3. Barr. Niyi Owolade = Member
4. Chief (Mrs) Ayobola Fadeyi Awolowo = Member
5. Dr. B.T. Salami = Member
6. Engr. Adetoye Ogunboyega = Member
7. Alh. Razaq Oyelani = Member

Osun State Caretaker Committee was set up due to the former Chairman tenure, in the person of Honourable Soji Adagunodo expired as the Chairman in last month March 25th. Now a new caretaker committee has been set up to champion the affairs of the Party in the next 90 days before a state congress will be conducted in the state.

Aregbesola factions strategising to unseat Oyetola from government is highly strong and powerful. Now that Aregbesola is not contesting for any political office, he will be minister of interior till next 2023 when Buhari finish his government. Not only that, Aregbesola will used much of his foot soldiers to remove Oyetola from power. The handwriting is on the wall.
