I stand to be corrected but this violates the rule of proofs in Maths. It is either you manipulate the LHS of the equation to arrive at the RHS or manipulate RHS to arrive at the LHS but you can not just move 6 to the other side.

Keep deceiving yourself.
You can only square both sides. You are not allowed to square individually as you have done..

8+6=10

Squaring both sides give you
(8+6)²=10²
