Now, I have an important question: does the bible Say christians have to attend church?

People have made it look like if you don't go to church, you are not a christian, you don't appreciate God's love, and you are not keeping the sabbath day holy.

But christianity is all about relationship with God, guilded and perfected by his Word; which is the scripture. The bible is a guild for living the christian life. Whatever or whoever that does not stand with the Word of God, stands against it.

For me, not going to church does not stand against the scripture, because I haven't read it in the bible that christians must to attend to church.

Though it is good to come together and hear the Word of God from a man of God, but the Bible doesn't say we MUST attend church. If it did say that, then please tell me where.

Nowhere does scripture mandate one’s attendance at church as a condition of salvation.

For me, you can keep the sabbath day holy by respecting that day, reading the Word of God, praying, seeking God's face, doing good deeds, etc...

This thread doesn't stand against going to church. I just want to know whether or not the bible truly say christian have to attend to church.

Well, it may not be compulsory but as a Catholic breaking of bread is a must, in fact, that is the fulcrum of Catholic Christianity and it's mandatory at least once a year.

Well, that is your point, it's well appreciated. But I am more interested in a Bible Verse that said christians have to attend church.

You are talking about the breaking of bread in the bible, not going to church.

There are churches that doesn't even break breads. So, that is a different topic.

Now the above scripture addresses certain important issues.
1. The church is the assembly of God's people, not a building. So for instance if God's people decide to meet in a stadium or a shop, that gathering is called "Church". This assembly is what the writer of the book of Hebrews advised us not to forsake. We all know how important company is. To grow, you must associate with the right people as often as possible.

2. There are some who have a habit of not gathering with the people of God. We must avoid such habit.

Kindly consider these words and may the Lord bring in more light.

thou it isn't compulsory for you to go to church but the acts of the apostles made it clear how the early christians do fellow as in from house to house and thats where the idea of going to church emanated from

God never asked anyone to build churches in His name and He never commanded any of His own to attend churches either, nor gather together anywhere. He alone commands those who belongs to Him and if He chooses, He gathers them on His own time.

Your churches are instead social businesses of this world built to the glory of your Pastors/mogs and their pockets and kingdoms in this world.

when the apostles addressed this topic they clearly emphasized the need for fellowship... Saying brethren need to pray together for the advancement of the gospel, lift each other up or correct each when they fall ...they even specifically mentioned not to avoid the fellowship..

If you have issues with the current church system...that’s fine...a lot of people do... some people don’t go to church becos many churches are too carnally or money focused or unspiritual... but asking if the Bible said it just to justify not going ...me I don’t get you ooo

You can "break bread" at home, in your own home. Jesus Christ never said "break bread" in a church building or have priests "break bread" for you, nor did He say that you must not "break bread" alone.

Instead, His instructions where more that you should do as He commands in remembrance or Him. .
