Burnley Football Club can confirm the Club has parted company with manager Sean Dyche, assistant manager Ian Woan, first-team coach Steve Stone and goalkeeping coach Billy Mercer.

Dyche was the longest-serving manager in the Premier League, having been in charge of the Clarets for nine-and-a-half years, overseeing a period which will go down as one of the most successful in the Club’s history.

During this time, the team was promoted twice from the Championship, achieved two top-half Premier League finishes and qualified for Europe for the first time in 51 years.

Chairman Alan Pace said:

“Firstly, we would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Sean and his staff for their achievements at the Club over the last decade.

“During his time at Turf Moor, Sean has been a credit both on and off the pitch, respected by players, staff, supporters, and the wider football community.

“However, results this season have been disappointing and, while this was an incredibly difficult decision, with eight crucial games of the campaign remaining, we feel a change is needed to give the squad the best possible chance of retaining its Premier League status.

“Under-23s coach Mike Jackson, assisted by Academy Director Paul Jenkins, Under-23s goalkeeping coach Connor King and Club Captain Ben Mee have been asked to take charge of the team for Sunday’s game with West Ham United.

“The process of replacing Sean has begun and further announcements will be made to supporters in due course.”

Useless English managers

All they know how to do is talk on TV about players far better than their entire careers. Even the deadweights like Neville, Scholes, Ferdinand, Carragher & co that were carried by foreigners like C. Ronaldo, Torres, Vidic, Tevez talk more than their saviours.

Meanwhile their mates like Zidane, Pochettino, Arteta, Conte, Inzaghi have become successful as managers without talking too much.

Bye bye, ginger Mourinho.

With just about eight games left, Burnley will still go on relegation whether the sack him or not.
The guy has tried for them. He's always maintained they stayed up in the EPL no matter how tough the season is.

But I guess it's time to say goodbye.

this is your reminder to start slow and gradually lean into consistency rather than to change your entire routine one fine day. it's okay to start wherever and whenever you feel ready. please don't compare yourself to the highlight reel of people on social media. i promise it's never too late to work on your goals. you don't have to make a drastic change just because it's a new year. time is a social construct and i want nothing more than for you to truly enjoy life at present without worrying too much about the future. you are completely able to achieve goals you have set for yourself, but take it step by step. please avoid burnout and please take rest. wishing you all the best!!

Arteta should have been sacked. He is too inferior to manage Arsenal team. Play weak team always and never attempt to defeat any top 6.with only Premiership games still battling with top 6.

Which is Inzaghi are you talking about?

Hope you know the Inzaghi you have in mind is not a top manager. It's is brother who looks very much like him that's the manager of Inter Milan
