Yesterday 19/04/2022, The Capacity State Chairman of the All progressive congress ( APC) Enugu state chapter, Hon Ugochukwu H Agballah donated a multi-million naira girls hostel built by him in the honor of his late parents; Sir.Petrus & Lady chianuka to Mater Dei Secondary School,udi Enugu state.

The father of grassroot politics in Enugu and ardent lover of education also used the occasion to call on well-meaning Nigerians and stakeholders in Enugu state to support the growth and development of the educational sector in their various communities.

The event was graced by top political leaders in Nigeria which includes; H.E Prof Yemi Osibanjo represented by his S.A on community Engagement Barr. Nkechi Chukwueke, H.E Gov.Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Gov.Hope Uzodima represented by his S.A, Senator.Ike Ekweremadu, Chief.Emma Enukwu APC deputy national chairman, Chief Edozie Njoku The APGA national chairman, Chief. Uche Nnaji (Nwakaibeya), former minister of Aviation Amb. Fidelia Njeze, The Minister for foreign affairs represented by his P.A; Chief Flavor Eze, Barr. Tabugbo George Ogara , Federal Commissioner representing Enugu state Mrs Ginika Tor, High Princess Ada Ogbu, a gubernatorial aspirant in the forthcoming elections Chief Jeff Nnamani, Prof Nick Eze,Barr OAU Onyeama, party leaders from the major political parties and a host of other eminent personalities.

After the reception at Mater dei secondary school, dignitaries moved to the home of the State chairman for another round of celebration as the day also mark his birthday.

Hon Agballah has remain a blessing to the people of Enugu and Ndi Igbo in general. Remember prior to the 2019 general elections, he galvanized support for Peter Obi when he emerged Atiku's running mate. It was a known fact that the southeastern PDP leaders never supported Peter Obi candidacy. Agballah, through the the Igbo improvement union( Oganiru Ndi Igbo), an organization founded to champion the Igbo cause in Nigeria, was able to galvanize support for Obi. There is no gainsaying that at the helm of affairs in APC Enugu state, the journey towards lion building come 2023 has just begun.
