How has the life of Europeans changed with the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions? EU inflation jumped from 1.3% to 7.4% ▪️In March 2022, inflation in the euro area rose to 7.4% year on year. A year earlier, inflation was 1.3% over the same period ▪️The growth trend of inflation in the EU is taking place not only in relation to "year on year", but also in relation to the previous month. Thus, March inflation became higher than February by 1.5 percentage points. ▪️At the same time, inflation has already exceeded the double-digit threshold in 7 eurozone countries - it was 10 percent or more, including the Netherlands - 11.7%, the Czech Republic - 11.9%, Lithuania - 15.6% The EU urged citizens to turn off the heating, reduce the speed of the car and switch to remote control. ▪️In Germany, it was advised to wash less often so as not to depend on Russian gas ▪️In France, residents were asked to lower the temperature in the batteries of apartments, save on air conditioners and lighting In Italy, restrictions are imposed on the temperature: in summer it should not be below 25 ° C, and in winter – no higher than 19 ° C In Ireland, for the sake of saving gasoline, motorists were advised to slow down less often, not carry heavy loads and not turn on the air conditioner, but it is better to walk In Lithuania, citizens were advised to boil less water, lower the temperature in the room to 16 degrees Celsius and listen to music quieter ▪️In Estonia, it was recommended to wash clothes at night and insulate houses VDVN: Germany will pay a record 33.9 billion euros for energy from Russia in 2022. It is noted that the price of Russian oil could rise from 11.4 billion euros to 14.3 billion euros, and the price of gas imports to Germany could double from 8.8 billion euros to 17.6 billion euros.

The fact that EU and even USA still pays Russia around €1B everyday UK, USA and EU tankers are queuing up at Russia oil and gas centres for loading China oil and gas companies already have a deal to buy up Shell 20% holding of Gaspour oil and gas then take over the new deal of pipelines that Russia and shell want to construct to China is a game changer. China want uninterrupted oil and gas supply from Russia and Pakistan is doing the same. 3 Likes |

Globetech: As long as Coal, Oil and Gas from Russia are still in demand, these sanctions against Russia would mean little. Imagine Germans being informed to wash and bath less in order not to utilise much gas/electricity; "Dear Germans, it is okay to stink for Zelensky and Nazi Ukraine". 3 Likes 1 Share |

All I would have expected the EU to have done is to force Ukraine to comply completely with the Minsk 2.(by doing so it will wade off the problem in Spain as well).they will have Ukraine in the EU passage(more security) But I just don't get this action but EU...but line action is totally gone because Russia holds the ace right now Unless a breakthrough his in the works that would anihilate the use of oil and gas |

I said from beginning, that this is an experiment. The West has never sanctioned an economy as big as Russian before. It is an experiment tgat could work in their favour or Russian favour |

You must sacrifice something to get something better. The West is already paying the price, but when Russia starts feeling the heat the hard way, no one should blame the US. |
