It has been reduced due to the unavailability of the youth and the teens are also following the rebellious footsteps of the youth. The little children are watching too.
In addition, JW had not resumed service post COVID until few weeks ago.
All this coupled together just made it seem as if they had gone extinct. Meanwhile, they are still very much amongst us
