Pandemonium As Security Operatives Kill Three In Kwara Community

It was a tragic Sunday in Offa Local Government area of Kwara State as security operatives allegedly kill three in purported riots that ensued between two street boys in the town.

The security operatives identified as men of the Nigerian Navy allegedly killed two brothers of the same parents and one other.

It was gathered that angry youths were demonstrating protest against extrajudicial killing by throwing stones at security men while the operatives were shooting sporadically into the air to repel mobs attack at central mosque area in Olofa way.

It was learnt that the stray bullet further hit another victim who was equally at the scene demonstrating protest over the death of his brother.

At the time of filing this report, the remains of the victims have been taken to a Muslim cemetery in Offa for burial.

The riots between the thugs had earlier led to the demise of yet to be identified man who was allegedly hacked to death. The cause of the riot is yet to be ascertained
