ABIA 2023: IN CHIMA ANYASO, THE NEED OF A HUMAN AND MATERIAL RESOURCES MANAGER WILL BE FITLY MET

It is obvious that the name Chima Desmond Anyaso (CDA) is a household name having traversed the length and breadth of Nigeria nay Abia State as an astute businessman, investor, philanthropist of the highest order, and founder, Chima Anyaso Foundation. He is the kind of person who believes in the philosophy of Joe Mansueto which asserts thus "Being wealthy is about being productive, giving to others, serving society, and creating a legacy."

Born of modest parentage in Aba, some four (4) Decades ago, Dr. Anyaso, a native of Igbere in Bende LGA of Abia State had both his elementary and secondary education in Abia State before continuing for his tertiary education, where he bagged B. A degree in English and Literature.
Recognizing the importance of education, Dr. Chima Anyaso went further to obtain M.Sc in Management, Executive Management Certification as well as went for more advance studies at Peter J Tobin College of Business, St. John’s University Manhattan, New York.

His obsession and unquenchable passion for business and entrepreneurship was discovered early in life where, despite being the last child of very comfortable parents, he engaged in petty trading even as a primary school pupil, just to make extra money during holidays. According to him, this interest was inspired by his parents who were both successful traders.

To garner enough work experience, he had at various times worked at Elmline Nigeria Ltd, South Globe Ltd, Traqui Ltd, Geo Bureau de Change, where he not only picked up valuable experience but also made a considerable positive impression on peers and employers alike. His stint at Aquitaine Oil and Gas Ltd was particularly significant in establishing his reputation as an upwardly mobile young man in the oil sector.

In 2006, having felt sufficiently proficient in his workings of the industry, he resigned from Aquitaine Ltd to establish his own company, CAADES Oil and Gas Ltd. That bold step has been described as ambitious and quite a risky move by any means given his young years, but it was to prove ultimately profound and somewhat providential given the speed with which the new concern was to grow. The growth of CAADES culminated quickly in the formation of Ceecon Energy Oil and Gas Ltd., which was eventually to become the flagship of his cooperate fleet. In no time, Ceecon had secured a pride place in the country‘s Ivy League of petroleum conglomerates. The company had since generated a turnover of over $1 billion, consulting for such international companies as Addax and Vitol and engaging with such renowned multinationals as Total, Mobil, Oondo, AP, Wabeco, and so on.

Not surprisingly, his fecund entrepreneurial mind soon veered into a new horizon. He founded SC & C Bureau de Change Ltd which was immediately among the class ‘A’ bureau de Change companies granted a license by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2009 to address foreign exchange inadequacies plaguing the country at the time. Timbaland Properties & Investment Co Ltd has an enormous interest in Lagos real estate, especially at the upmarket end, while Oil Rigs Global Resources Ltd is designed as an ancillary to his petroleum sector interest.

Today, Dr. Chima sits on the board of several companies with extensive interest in Real Estate Development, Hospitality and Lifestyle, Financial Services, and Healthcare. Driven by a passion to make a difference, Dr. Chima Anyaso is a man on a mission to bring development to his people and make a positive impact in the Nigerian political space.

Dr. Chima Anyaso is a result-driven chief executive officer with over 15 years of practical experience leading a dynamic conglomerate and recording exponential growth.
