You are right.
But there is tendency that the date 30th is what is actually meant as the discrepancy might just be an oversight. So I guess you should be cool and wait for clarifications.
And mind you that the date should also be stated in your acknowledgement slip which you will print out after registrations.

a) Eligible candidate should pay
a processing fee of one
thousand Naira (N1,000.00) and
obtain a scratch card for on-line
pre-registration at the
designated branches of:
- Intercontinental Bank Plc,
- Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, in
the major cities of the
Federation.
b) On-line pre-registration
commences on Monday,
September 19, 2011 and ends on
Monday, September 26, 2011.
Those who fail to register
within this period will not be
screened.
With the scratch card, candidate
should access and complete the
University of Nigeria 2011/2012
Direct Entry screening form on-
line at www.unnportal.com .
c) All candidates are required to
bring the following for the

i) A copy of on-line form carrying

I've heard speculations purporting that the primary list of admitted candidates is out, but as it is am in school right now and there is nothing official yet to suggest same.
Note that UNN is a public institution and for anything of this nature to be real and effective, it must be published in atleast a national daily and announced over the radio *network* for all to duly informed.

The University of Nigeria Nsukka, has released her primary admission list. You can check yours in today's Daily Sunnewspaper. Best of luck to all prospective students.

The list is on page 46 of the newspaper, if u are not able to get ur hands on it, u can call someone dat has it to help you check. I believe before the end of today it wii be on the skul website www.unn.edu.ng if u are desperate to check urs, then u can buy a copy.
