Almost every big boy you know in the Old Testament has more than one wife. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Solomon.

That tells you that it’s scriptural, not marrying more than one wife might even be the sin cos God himself told us to go into the world and multiply.

God did not punish Jacob for marrying two sisters. God did not punish Moses for killing the Egyptian task master. God did not punish David for eating of the shewbread. God did not punish the King of Moab for sacrificing his son. God did not punish Abraham for not believing that God will produce seed by him and for going into Hagar. God did not punish the adulteress caught in the act...that God doesn't punish a deed does not make it right. There are three men in the scriptures characterised by sexual purity. God Himself declared that these men will save themselves by their righteousness and they are Daniel, Noah and Job (Ezekiel 14:14). Noah and Job had one wife in a world where men married multiple women. Some sources claim Daniel had one wife, Susanna (Daniel 13:2-64 NRSVCE) while the tanakh seems to suggest he was a eunuch. Either way he was sexually pure...sexual purity is reflected in a simple rule: "If you will not be a eunuch then get a spouse and remain with him or her till the death". Anything short of this is corruption!
