Good all,

It is expedient to note that Nigerian commercial banks are not allowed to assist intending travelers by providing loans meant proof of funds. This move is prevented by the Central bank of Nigeria. Nevertheless, there's a solution to this somewhat hurdle as specialized financial institutions have the privilege to give out loans in the form of proof of funds to intending travelers who need to secure their visas and meet Visa requirements.

When you need to provide proof of funds, it is actually in the form of a bank statement that should have some history to it. I mean a history of the transaction(s) on your bank account; inflow and outflow.

Now, while you seek to contact financial institutions that can provide these proof of funds, you must ensure that your proof of funds they provide is acceptable and verifiable as well.

Why the funds must be verifiable: the visa office(s) will contact the bank to confirm the validity of the funds.
