Since the end of regional government in Nigeria. Abia state has failed to create new urban settlement were business can thrive.
ANAMBRA state seems to be doing well in this regard.

Why don't our government invest massively in ohafia LGA, create local councils (just as Lagos has done).
Places like Abiriba need special attention.
I'm sure they can replicate the success of Aba-Ngwa.
What Abiriba and Ohafia needs is Just a standard planned roads just like Aba-Ngwa,
these will push development to Abia north and reduce the congestion of Abia south and central.

Arochuku also need special attention.
I don't subscribe to the narrow roads we are building in rural areas.
Building a standard planned roads can automatically transform a rural area to a city.
All you need is a standard planned primary and secondary schools with nice buildings
So as to create a more civilized population that can develop the land the occupy.

Just standard and planned roads, with advanced modern schools will do the magic.
Massive migration is not a sign of prosperity or economic prowness but a sigh of BRAIN DRAIN..
