Sculpture park in the Frogner Park consists of other than 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland (1869–1943) in bronze, granite and cast iron, including The Angry Boy (Sinnataggen in Norwegian), The Monolith (Monolitten) and The Wheel of Life (Livshjulet).

Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943) is Norway's most famous sculptor. He made his debut at the Autumn Exhibition in 1889, and in the 1890s he established himself as Norway's most promising sculptor.
In the early 1900s, he made several critically acclaimed portraits and monuments, of which the Abel monument in the Palace Park, Oslo, is considered his definitive breakthrough.



Vigeland is best known for having made Vigeland Park in Oslo. Vigeland was also responsible for the design and architectural outline of the park, which is one of Norway's top tourist attractions, with more than one million annual visitors. The park is free to enter and open all year round, 24 hours a day.
