Dear Diary, I have been kinda busy lately but,all my crops this year are doing wonderfully well.I often pluck Okra every three days now, because if I leave it unharvested it will send a wrong signal to the stem that harvest period is over I'm going to harvest my maize ending of this month and plant my Beans in August.Ceteris Paribus,my beans is going to worth the effort InshaAllah. If you need any advice crop wise and you're following this thread, please holla.Who knows I might be helpful, all thanks to my husband. He can never go wrong with crop production 1 Like 1 Share |

Sterlingsolutns:It's actually 70 percent dry before harvesting. We couldn't allow it to dry off completely from the cob because of human predators It's August Break over here already and we're sun-drying it every day. Thanks for being here 1 Like |

Ade3131:We both complement each other,we wouldn't have farm this year,if not for the push The output is always worth the effort,we haven't harvested our main farm and we're happy with what we're getting already. Thanks for being here sir,if not for insecurities land yapa for Niger State, for interested farmers, even distance wouldn't have been a barrier,if you've got a trusted farm manager. The elites are cashing out yearly from farming activities. 1 Like |

Maryam1234: Yeah... I'm keenly interested in farming. One of my friends is a millionaire now from farming but my gratest pullback has been insecurity. I kuku don't earn much sef to start with, so why won't I want to venture into farming and I am seriously passionate about anything related to agriculture. I've done poultry on a medium scale and really enjoyed doing it. But you see this insecurity matter is a serious one to me because I don't have anybody that'll pay ransom for me. That's why I sit back in my comfort zone (Lagos). I've traveled the length and breath of this country. I have friends in Bida Niger state that's into rice farming and I know Suleja well too down to where Zuma rock is. I don waka ooo. I just pray for peace to return back to Nigeria. They're many people like me that wants to venture into agriculture full-time but wouldn't do so under the current security situations in the country. 1 Like |
