Can I use red palm oil on my hair?

Red palm oil is derived from the fruit of the oil palm tree and is derived from the same portion of the palm tree as ordinary palm oil, but it is less processed and retains its red color. Red palm oil has been used for over 5,000 years, according to Livestrong, and provides several health advantages for our bodies and hair. It's a vegetable oil made from the fruit of the oil palm (Elaeis guineensis). Its red color comes from carotenes such as alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, and lycopene, which are the same minerals that give tomatoes and carrots their vibrant hues.

Red palm oil is also high in vitamin E, which promotes hair by encouraging hair follicle cell proliferation, resulting in stronger hair. Vitamin E also helps to prevent hair loss and graying.
