A Nigerian military officer identified as A.M Linus and his wife, Private Gloria Matthew, a lance corporal have reportedly been murdered by some unknown gunmen on their way to the village in Imo State.



According to reports, the couple was gunned down by these unknown gunmen, beheaded with their private parts mutilated. A video available to SaharaReporters shows the moment the gunmen placed the heads of their victims on their chests.

The gunmen after committing the outrageous act called the families of the couple to mock them and threaten them as well, saying soldiers have been killing a lot of innocent people, hence they killed the couple in revenge.

However, there haven’t been any reports about the police investigating the incident nor has an official statement been released to confirm the incident.
