The least annual percentage interest you should get for that amount is 9%.

The interest for 1 month will be 30,000,000 x 9% = 2,700,000/12 = 225,000.

Reject the offer by the bank!

God this is pure robbery, to me it isn't worth it, but since you know little about investing in. stock market , only 5 million in a cheap dividend stock will net you not less than 100k, low risk ,plus you can be reinvesting it.

see how much a guy is making from investing in cheap dividend stocks. risk is not much , at the end of the year you fit don recoup the money you invest.

So far so good,I have made 8million naira with some fractions with 33million in the last 4 months.

To get the monthly interest you divide 9% by 12.

I have terminated it today . Even the first bank lady agreed with me that it's too low, but she was being careful when telling me.

Yes,I make more than that some months depending on the demands from my clients. But that is my business and it remains personal to me for now.

#70k on #30million is so ridiculous I must admit . Its very possible to make 3% of that in 30days but not from the conventional Banking System savings plan (Although banks involve in Foreign Exchange using their clients/customers moneys as one of their numerous investment schemes to rake in decent Profits every now and then)

You can conveniently make no less than 3% of that money dealing on Foreign Exchange Trading, of course with the help of a Fund/Portfolio manager. You can call my bluff but this very viable. (100% achievable I know this for sure because its what I do)

You will earn between 4%- 6% . Rate are not always fixed . Don't be tempted with high rate . It better to have your principal intact with small change on it, then lose 30m because of 1m profit. If you are looking at 180 days - 270 days. You can consider commercial paper.the Rate on this is dependent on the issuer but ranges between 6.5% - 13% .

bro there is a mistake with ur calculation...3% of 30mil should give U atleast 900,000...0.3% of 30mil should give U about 90k...so were is Ur 70k coming from?If that is what was promised that means the interest for a month is 0.24%...

You don't know how fixed deposit is calculated again? The 3% will be divided by 12 months, then deduct tax.
