I watched his interview on Arise TV where he cleared the air on the tax-haven saga. In that interview he noted that in 1998 while still residing in the UK, MasterCard or so introduced a platinum card which was meant for ONLY 20 persons in the UK (you know what that meant), he tendered his platinum card in that interview, he was one of the 20. He went further to state that 5 years later, they introduced a BLACK CARD meant for ONLY 10 PERSONS in the whole of UK, he tendered his black card.

He told the interesting event that happened when he went to pick the black card, because everyone who came were chauffered in Rolls-Royce but he took the tube to the event and waited and they said he must be in the wrong place so he left, on his way he called his account officer to let him know what happened and the account officer apologized and asked him to go back. When he got there they were waiting this time and apologised to him. This is not Naira but in Pounds Sterling .

Peter Obi is extremely understated.
