Elsewhere in Ghana, a man identified as Dramani has been banished from his community for stealing a bunch of plantain from a farm on a sacred day.

The news is said to have happened in Asante Akyem South, a part Eastern Region in Ghana.

It is said that Dramani stole the bunch of plantains when no one in the Asante Akyem Southland is supposed to go to the farm because it's a day meant for the gods.

Per reports from Kessben FM, Dramani was caught red-handed when he was busily packing the stolen plantain into a tricycle to transport it to a nearby market for marketing.

Dramani is said to be a notorious thief in the community and after being caught, accepted his fault, and pleaded for forgiveness.

His plea fell on deaf ears because he's said to have disrespected the gods of the land and the authority of the Chief in the community.

Dramani has since been banished from the community.
