When you become a parent, you are going to get up in the night and check on your kids. From time to time....to see if they are safe. Because it is your job.

Someone must go down...and it's not gonna be the school nor the parents. Who else but the teachers. Whatever the outcome, those brats just ruined their careers. I feel sorry for them. However, when they made the decision to be teachers, they made the decision to take upon themselves the duties and responsibilites thereof.

Just as when YOU become a parent, YOU are going to be woken up by your children at night for all sorts of reasons, and despite having had a hard day at work, YOU will get up and YOU will attend to them...because when YOU decided to get married and do the do with madam, you signed up for it..





I work in medicine in my day job. There are days when I have a full load of work in the day, and then have to stay in the hospital at night to look after patients because I am on call duty. And if a patient gets into distress in the night, I don't tell them that I AM TOO TIRED TO ATTEND TO YOU...LEAVE ME ALONE....I get up and do my job because if i don't, a patient could die. And yes, doctors and nurses have been sanctioned for allowing patients to die because they 'didn't want to attend to them' .

Is it wickedness to expect someone to do their job? Really?

We expect that an adult should be present in children's rooms, just like they do in the dormitory, we expect that adults should do the work they are paid to do.

It's 11:50pm at night, you have made sure all students lights are out.
At 12:30am, you are dozing on your bed waiting for your 6:00am round to wake up the children.
At exactly 1:00am, four students are awake (one girl and three boys) practicing what they saw in the last blue film they watched.

By 2:30am, the students are back in their rooms after recording their bedroom escapade.
You wake them up by 6:00am as usual and life continues until you returned back to school: then videos were shared until it got to you

I think most of the blame should go to the parents. Most parents don't have time for their kind. U can argue that these kids are in Borden schools, but how many parents has the time to study and check what their kids do when they are back home on holidays.
Don't forget that most of this kids has phones and laptops and access to internet making it very easy for them to access porn site.
The teachers can actually not monitor all the kids do. Truth is most parents have abandoned their role as parents .

Unfortunately, as a doctor, even when tired, even when I don't feel like turning up to work, even when I would rather spend the night binging on netflix or whatever, I turn up and do my job.

Ye have to sacrifice your feelings sometimes in this business of medicine. Patient in pain or breathing difficulty at 2 am does not give a eff about how tired you may be...they need help and need it now.

I am not surprised at your lack of acceptance of responsibility but the number of folks that think like you.

No wonder our country is in a deep shit no one wants to take responsibility. Most people want to do shabby jobs people don't take their jobs seriously.

It is evident in our work culture.

It is the responsibility of the school to take care of the children 247. The children were in their care they should develop a system that ensures that those children are safe at all time. If it fails they should take responsibility and improve the system.

Just imagine you handing your kid to go on a school trip. You are telling me if your child gets killed in the process your reaction will be that the school can not monitor your child 247?

It is the responsibility of the school to ensure that kids that are under their care obeys the school rules and regulations no matter how they are raised at home.

Yes I agree that how often the kids breaks the rules depends on their home training. But schools should have a system that at least prevent some certain thing from happening.

The school should take full responsibility and review their protocol.
