GOVERNOR SOLUDO MUST NOT ALLOW HIS NAME DRAGGED TO MUD BY CHINEDU NWOYE (GLAMOUR).

Professor Soludo administration came with so many expectations and people were really optimistic that at least, credibility and merit will be his Government watchword, but for so far, that had only remained a verbal statement as what is on ground says otherwise.

I am aware that the Governor is not in tune with what is happening in most Local Government Areas and communities and how His Chief Of Protocol, Chinedu Nwoye is putting himself further as a De facto Governor, shortchanging political processes in various Local Government of the State to Favour those who could grease his palm or accept his offer of kickbacks for them to be pushed into offices.

Reports abound how Glamour (Chinedu Nwoye) has been taking offers from Wiper (Uchenna Okafor) the former Commissioner for Commerce in the State, in Oyi LGA to shortchange the process of politics in the LGA. Wiper whose greed and corruption are next to none has told a group of persons that he is no longer in Government but with Glamour, that his money will be enough to buy him anything.

Governor Soludo must not allow his trusted Chief Protocol bring him to wanton disrepute and criminality as the young Glamour claims that the Governor backs any of his decisions, even when it will implode the security, politics and peace of the said Local Government Area.

Governor Soludo must ensure fairness in allotting Offices to the people of Oyi LGA and instead consult the Religious leaders, Traditional Rulers and Stakeholders of the zone and not allow some criminals drag his name to the mud.

Oyi as a Local Government has Five (5) communities and are expected to have whatever that’s coming to the LGA shared equally amongst these communities.

It is No doubt that some political travelers imposed on Governor Soludo an unknown person to APGA and Oyi LGA politics as Commissioner for Transport, despite the said woman not seen anywhere during the electioneering of Governor Soludo.

But the Governor was arm twisted to have had the woman from Nteje imposed as Commissioner for Transportation which is he slot of Oyi LGA.

Since Nteje already had a Commissioner, it’s common knowledge that other communities will have to benefit from other positions available, like the House of Assembly position, National Assembly Tickets, Local Government Chairman position amongst many.

It will amount to political suicide if Governor Soludo endorse the bribery induced lobby of Wiper to have someone from Awkuzu appointed as Local Government Chairman through the Chief Protocol. Where is communities like Umunya, Nkwelle-Ezunaka, Ogbunike in all these. Wiper from Awkuzu was a Local Government Chairman for eight ( years and a Commissioner for four (4) years serving in two (2) different ministries, today, he’s at the forefront of contesting the APGA ticket for House of Representatives, No one else in Oyi had been privileged to do so, yet same Wiper wants everything under his firm control with the help of the criminal Glamour who’s hell bent to destroy the little integrity of Governor Soludo administration.

Ogbunike Nkwelle and Umunya have been used as mere spectators in the past as only Nteje and Awkuzu would rotate both the LG Chairman position amongst themselves. The Governor must get across to the people to have the feelers of the elders and leaders of the communities and Local Government if he is still harping on credibility, equity and fairness in his administration.

The current House member is from Nkwelle Ezunaka, Nteje has a Commissioner, Awkuzu has held the Chairman for 8 years, same Akwuzu had an MD and Commissioner in the immediate past administration. Ogbunike and Umunya should be considered for the sake of fairness and even allotting of political office in Oyi LGA.
