theories & technical terms & gadgets alone can't​ do it, u can support it with image of a dish u already track the satellite on.

see the elevation of this particular satellite was 63 degree, and when u set the angle of elevation at 63 degree u won't hit at the satellite , therefore u have to minus ur dish offset angle from ur true elevation of 63 degree to hit at the satellite, if u are on facebook just search for me and add me as ur friend I will explain better to u, my facebook address I'd ehisokosun2004@yahoo.com

ok am sorry for that, one thing is that we keep learning, even in school some lecturers will come and introduce some topic to u which u have never know or learn before if u are interested u give audience if u are not u walk away, am talking of higher institutions, u have the option. it should be they are all Nigerian channels, is it because they are on cband, if u have 1.8 u can try it urself there is no harm in trial.is it not 33e @60 degree east?

Yes, I have a 1.8 dish, and C_band Lnbs, just that one of the Lnb is hooked to Sony package at 68.5e so I was hopping you could use your motor to tune your own 1.8 dish to that position and see if the channels are visible on there.? so that i can try using the 2nd lnb for it. Thanks.

Hello friends am back again.please l have 4 dishes.1 60cm , 2 90cm and 1m. l use the 60cm for 5e/7e, 16e and 28e and 1m for 7w while one of the 90cm was use for 42e , 55e and 68e. so one of the 90cm is laying waste..please which satllite can l track with it.am waiting for amswer.thanks

on a most serious note a prefessional installer should ve all these materials like a compass, inclonometer and what have you to make tracking easy. He should able to decipher the azimuth and elevations of various satellite in order for him to become world class installer.
My advice for you,mr Truwbless is that you should not be detarred keep sharing your ideas for that is the purpose of this forum.
Yes!one or two persons may be offended because they dont really understand what you are passing across but in the long run they will get to know all that satellite installation is beyond trying to move a dish up and down while looking for particular signal.
It is calculated to get the signal you re looliig for.let take 9e for example,many people really find it difficult to track this sat but if you have the necessary malterials and know how to use them to get a particular sat ,9e should not pose any problem.
Plsease my candid advice to every member of this forum is that we should cultivate the habit of learning just to be perfect.

I just decided to create awareness for people to know that installation of satellite dish can be made easy if we all know how to calculate our azimuth, elevation, offset angle, declination angle and calculate the distance of the particular satellite we are trying to align our dish to.


I have made up my mind not to reply anybody question or tell anybody the way forward, but rather I will be reading and learning from other people question and answer given to them as regard to their question.

remember i told u i will love to see u when i come to lagos, and that was my first reply to u on this forum, if u were not doing a good job maybe i won't have dat interest, listen don't stop doing what made others to notice u, as at today so many of our guru have stop posting or replying to questions here or sharing new info

if d said guy who express his opinion really followed dis trend from 1-5 he will understand dat what u are sharing is not new, but because of d cost of buying dos equipment dey simply show us easy way to get it done, but always advice getting dos tools were better

and by d way d nigcomsat dat cause dis talk if dey so know dat dey have d signal i dare them to remove their dish from signal totally and track it afresh again then i will take their argument of questioning ur competence

and they should do it and upload d video on YouTube and share d link here

more over i refuse to track dat bird bcus of his inconsistency pending wen it becomes stable
