I want to upload how i tracked my arabrat 20e 1m dish with C band LNB but d pics is not coming up

Jackobite: what is the position of ur lnbf? The practical says 12'oclock but geographically can proof it wrong, just tried to tweak ur lnbf til it pop up or changed ur polarity and check ur di-electric plastic like in the throat of the lnbf.keep trying u will hit that green.

YES my Oga, but the signal level is very low 33-39%,it show no audio/video, I input the biss key but still the same, I reside @ sango ijoko, ogun state.

i saw three things if not four mistake,1 your dish surface needs to be cleaned,2 d lnb screw should be 3 or 9 oclock depending on your location,3 d tp for ajazeera it is 4054 h 27500 not v and irib is3964 v 30000 not h as showned by d pix,do this and report back to d house

greymwasonko: @geman, u can nail nilesat with 90cm if u ve a good lnb but u ll only get very few channels while some cracking. My advice try nd get a biger dish like 120, u can aslo get ses 5.5e on d same sat just add a second lnb just below ur primary lnb good day my location mombasa

Nilesat 201 is nailable in Uganda with 90cm without cracking since the footprint seems closer in Uganda, Kenya (Western, Nyanza and upper Kenya)

Am in Nairobi but friends on those sides have tracked it with 90cm with strong signal. I have also nailed it in Naivasha with 90cm without cracking but affected little rain

PLS THE HOUSE AND @ OLENYI AFTA FIXING D CBAND ON MY NET DISH I WAS ABLE TO GET EAST BT I COULD NT GET MIDDLE AND WEST...PLS HELP ME.

Most of d strong decoder can pick terresial signa...we were using it for it b4....

Hey friends we have been having issues with irib signals lately,Majority of us have the money to acquire big dish and forget the stress but the constraint is space.In my design I strike balance between 90cm and 1.8m dish.So its not going to take much space than you could ever imagine and yet it should be able to deliver the result.Since good thing comes from the east.This" MINI DISH" should be able to solve the eastern weak signal.With cnn,aljazeera news,mbc1-4,max and action,Irib varseh,muvi and joy packages, we need not throwing our money in the bin.



I will surely keep you posted about the results.

Jackobite: iif you are in ibadan and ur decoder is capable of picking terrestial signal e.g SRT4910HD just plug-in ur yagi antennae and enjoy the trend-tv freebies til next year;u wil plug 2 where tit indicate antennae IN @ the back of ur rx and blindscan on new satellite up to 35channels

Does it Mater if the receiver is connected to the Dish or not and if not. How do we blind scan since its does not have a particular satilite nor TP.because have tried it following the procedure u gave above to no avail using two strong receiver already 4669x & 4940HD ... Pls ur answers will be well appreciated. THANK

nice one sir. guess one can hold on a bit and see how dis goes before making a purchase for any dish.

i went hunting for ctl in ibadan today, and these are my findings...

I started with startime decoder, no show.
Then my old dvt\dtd box for ctl on yagi antenna and discover their signal is active on my old TREND box but didnt get any station,
BUT on adding the DOWN CONVERTER, i was able to get the ctl stations which include 7 jsc sport channels, mbc action, mbc max, cine afr, hitz tv, cnn etc.
However only cnn was showing as all other were all transferred and visible only on AUDIO, just exactly how an mpeg2 decoder will treat an mpeg4 channels.
and thus concluded the dtd i have isnt "up to date" to pick the stations.
i also tried it on strong 4653x ( without down converter)......no way !!.
but with the converter i was able to get just one tp...11842 v 4991 , which yielded no channel after scanning.

plan geting a gotv decoder to test when i return from work today....
