The default time is 1st sept 2009, i have not been able to set it to todays date and if i do, it goes back automaticaly once i put off the decoder. Also i cant view the information of any channel am watching, it keeps showing no information. Please help.

If you set the time you will need constant power. Instead you can set the time from the satellite. I don't have same decoder but on my Strong you press Menu and choose System Settings - Time Settings and select GMT Usage = On and Local offset 1:00 (for Nigeria). Problem is not all channels give correct time or any at all. So if I am on MultiTv position I have to move to another satellite position to get the time first. Not many FTA channels give information and sometimes it is wrong (like Joy Sports).

frequency given belongs to IS 20'@ 68.5east..which is a linear satellite..remove lnb dielectric plate then move dish to 68.5east..use JSC frequency 4064/19850...when lnb skew is @ 2 0'clock use 4064 V19850....If lnb skew is @ 4'0clock use 4064 H 19850...This is aljazeera news frequency at 68.5east..happy tracking...

Am naw enjoyin FTA naw with d life of orisun,faajitv,tvc yoruba,infinty dice,waptv,yotomi tv e.t.c so dose people subscribing 4 startime and dstv and mytv are just wasting their money

Use 4064H 19850sr (Aljazeera) to track.

You can also use 4103V 7800sr (India News)

Minimum dish size is 1.8m. You cannot receive with 90cm.
