Something similar occurred in February and this dude was saying something that I can't even decipher,I replied him speaking in tongues and he said werey la ba soro she and that is how the doofus hanged up

The scam na old model now. Same kind of call last 2 years. The old man called and was raining blessing and calling me my son... until I discovered it s fraud. He asked for money promising that his son will get a better job for me.

Every avenue has been used to defraud people. No one knows even when someone truly needs help again.

Yeah I experienced it but I already had knowledge of it due to a viral WhatsApp voice note some years ago


It started wity the person asking my tribe after I have already sent back the credit.. I already understood, I ended the call and blocked the number.


Its actually jazz they use to hypnotise you.. The moment they start praying for u and its sweeting u. U Don enter..

I have experienced it before, but I was already aware of the scam then, so I just played along. That format is used by young boys in secondary schools. it's called "HELLO BABA"

Yeah, had similar experience about 2 years ago, or one. i don't even know how many times they have called. Am sure it's more than 10.
Points
1. You'll only see the message after you pick their call and they talk to you, if not, you'll see missed call
2. They always say their papa wants to thank you
3. the papa usually does that long prayer

i don't know about the hypnosis, but the papa told me something about being the cheif native doctor for (i think) ogun state, that he has help many politicians and cheifs, do i want him to help me?
i told him am a muslim and he cut the call.

You couldn't have described it better. It has happened to me too before. The baba even asked me to get water so that he prayed into it while on call. He said he is the chief native doctor for Ooni of Ife and many others. But I've heard some guys once narrating the experience, so I knew at once it's a scam.
