2023: Northwest Youths Endorse Saraki for President

...says he has capacity to deliver dividends of democracy

Youths under the aegis of Pro People's Democratic Party (PDP) Youth Movement ,North-West Zone have thrown their support behind the former Senate President aspirant, Alhaji Bukola Saraki for the highly coveted seat of the President come 2023.

According to the youths, Saraki is the only experienced aspirant amongst all PDP Presidential aspirants,who has the background of a grassroots administrator with a vast leadership prowess.

Addressing journalists at a Press Conference held at Arewa House ,Kaduna today, the Coordinator, North-West Zone, Honorable Ibrahim Ahmed, said after an emergency meeting held to discuss the forthcoming 2023 election and the role of the youths during the electioneering process, it was resolved that Nigeria is in dire need of a unifying factor that has capacity to provide a visionary leadership .

The group in the Statement disclosed," We deployed our research team to study all aspirants in the PDP and from the information gathered ,Saraki has all the qualities required to unite Nigeria and work under pressure to deliver the country from the shackles of Insecurity; ravaging high rate of unemployment , food insecurity , poor economy and problems of industrial development.

The statement further reads: "We are ready to work 24- hours round the clock to ensure that the PDP delegates grasp the reasons we want Saraki to emerge as the the Flagbearer of the main opposition party PDP.

"For the purpose of clarity, we want to categorically state that Saraki is the bridge between the North and South, with a father who was the major political player in the country that help to stabilize the polity in Kwara State and beyond .

"And during his days as the Governor of Kwara State and Senate President ,he demonstrated the ability to perform and work for the masses .

"He is a complete Detribalised Nigerian without any trace of religion bias during and out of office .

"We are therefore appealing to PDP delegates to shun all primordial interest and take a decisive step to elect a popular, intelligent and brave party Flagbearer and leader,who has the electoral base across Nigeria that can defeat APC during the forthcoming 2023 presidential elections".
