Una dey like deceive unaself sha.

Op, an election between Atiku and Lawan would be landslide victory for Atiku.

You know why?

Because only the north will vote for Lawan. And that northern votes will likely be split into three if Atiku, Lawan and Kwankwaso are on the ballots.

With the splitting of northern votes, Kwankwaso is likely to take Kano and get some fraction of votes in other states in the Northwest.

Atiku will win the Northeast with Adamawa, Taraba, Bauchi as PDP states, he add some votes from other non-PDP states to take the region.

Atiku will win the north central with the herdsmen menace in that region, I don’t see them voting APC again.

In the south, with Tinubu and Southwest feeling betrayed, Southwest might cast protest votes against APC in favor of Atiku or Kwankwaso, whoever Tinubu decides to go into alliance with. That’s if he doesn’t defect to SDP and be on the ballot himself.

Where the Southeast and Southsouth stand is already obvious and I see no need overstating the obvious. Even as I feel Lawan might likely choose Orji Uzor Kalu as running mate, I can assure you it won’t change anything as to where Igbos would vote.

You would understand better when you remember that Buhari ran twice with Igbo sons as running mate but we no send am.

We even voted against Ojukwu.

I’m telling you these things just so you realize that even an Igbo running mate won’t change where Igbos will vote.

The only thing that might tilt Igbos towards APC is if an Igbo man is the flagbearer and PDP gives Atiku their ticket.

Lastly, I wish to let you know that 2023 elections will be decided in the south.
