The 2020 indictments announced by the US Department of Justice were detailed in a report published by Cambridge University.

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro Moros has been indicted, according to a report published in the American Journal of International Law, on a number of outstanding criminal charges, including narcotrafficking and corruption.

In the Southern District of New York, the indictment has been made public, according to the New York Times.

There was also an allegation of money laundering and corruption against Venezuelan Supreme Court Justice Maikel José Moreno Pérez, who was named in the indictment. Southern District of New York and Southern District of Florida are currently hearing this case.

Maduro's Minister of Defense Vladimir Padrino López and other unnamed defendants were charged with cocaine trafficking in an unsealed District of Columbia indictment, according to a Cambridge University press release.
