First, The Buhari that I know is stubborn and inexorable. For anybody to believe Buhari would watch while Anybody would win the primary in an open contest is like still believing $1 will equal N1. We all remember how Adamu emerged.

Second, a Lagos big wig today is asking for a fair contest because he knows he has all the wherewithal to prosecute the primary and win (including mostly the financial strength), but this same Lagos principality has never for once allowed a level playing ground for any aspirant in any election in Lagos state. He has always imposed the candidates. From the governorship election to the councillors hip election in Lagos, you have to go and perform the necessary ritual at bourdillon, and que to wait for your turn. Any attempt to throw your hat into the ring in defiance is political suicide. We can still remember Lagos former governor's ordeal. When did he suddenly become a democracy activist? This is a clear case of what goes around comes around, he should enjoy it to the fullest.

Third reason is that the same thing is applicable to all the Governors asking the president not to anoint a successor whereas, they all imposed successors in their respective states is that not a high level of hypocrisy?

The fourth reason is that, There is no president that would not be directly partake in who succeeds him because of preservation of his legacies. And where it's observed that there is a heavyweight cum money bag that would easily pick up the party ticket, he would do anything possible to make sure his choice aspirant gets the ticket.

The Fifth reason is that the president is the Number leader of the party and the party bigger than any individual member of the party. The party can decide the direction it wants to follow and ensure an aspirant that will fall in place wins the ticket.

The sixth reason is that, while I aknowledge that democracy should start from the internal processes of selecting candidates within the political parties, let it be practiced and be seeing to have been practiced at all levels and by all stakeholders, including the Governors, and the God fathers. This is the only way a credible candidates will get to power and lead right. Nobody has the monopoly of imposition. If the governors can impose at their states, the president can also impose at the federal. What is good for the goose is also good for the gander.

My submission is this, the president like every other executives has all the right to endorse any aspirant of choice. And the party has the right to choose any mode of primary, whoever is not pleased would either swallow the bitter pill or leave the party.

I have said it before and will say it again that Tinubu has been scammed. Ribadu, Babachir Lawal, Dogara, Jubril, Ganduje, Shettima and co have really dealt with Lagos state tax payers money. Still, baba eko hasn't learned. Desperation has beclouded bullon van daddy. He hasn't gotten the message that the northern elites would not allow Tinubu to have custody of CBN, NNPC, FIRS, CUSTOM and other cash cows because of his antecedent and manner he had held on to Lagos state economy. The establishment would never allow Tinubu near presidential seat in Nigeria. It's a concluded matter. APC chairman will begin to roll out plans from this week and next.

We saw this coming earlier before. noww but his tribal infantile supporters in this forum will call you all forms of names for stating the obvious
The picture gets clearer as we edge closer to Sunday May 29, Tinubu's case is closed, he isn't getting 5he ticket. Track record, age, influence, money, religion have put hm in a disadvantage position to get the ticket
APC stalwarts will not like to give power to a very rich and influential Tinubu that will likely end their political career
He has done it in Lagos through his excessive interference in affairs of Lagos since 1999. From market leaders to defunct NURTW, traditional institutions and political office holders as low as councillors Tinubu have his men everywhere in Lagos
He brought the VP, Speaker, to some extent Senate president. His lackeys attribute this imoository politics as making people while he has cut short many political aspirations in Lagos
Tinubu lost control of APC immediately Oshiomhole was replaced by Buni, now the party is firmly in the hands of PMB,the authentic national leader
He will lose the primaries to whoever PMB supports, you can take this to bank
It's 7 days to D-Day and PMB is back to finish work on who succeeds him

Who's this one nah? Sunday is just a week away for you to increase your experience and gain more knowledge about political engineering and machinations
PMB'S candidate will certainly win and heaven will never fall
As Tinubu and other governors have been endorsing their successor so shall PMB do
Quote me anywhere, and praise me later

Only reason Bubu is interested in who succeeds him is to hide his monumental corruption that would reveal his fake integrity

This is mere day dreaming. We have been hearing this ninesense since the beginning of this year but its few days to the election yet the so called powerful buhari lacks the balls to impose his candidate on the party. Let him try the nonsense and see what will happen in the presidential election.
