darichlife: This is what many aren't seeing. The government is behind the killings going on in Igbo land, they are desperate to label IPOB a terrorist group and if that doesn't hold they'll try to paint the group as murderous so that Igbos will condemn them. This is why their focus is in Anambra, the state with the most influential Igbos both home and Abroad. Their plan is to make Anambra reject the group and in so doing other states follow. However, this plan will fail because the average Igbo man is tired of the contraption called Nigeria. |

The zoo government and afonja ochins are try very hard to rope ipob with UGM they even went as low as beheading their own soldier and now a politician is st to paint ipob black. We igbos are way smarter than this cheap propaganda. Biafra is a spirit that will never die no matter what they do |

Timetravel88:Oga stop typing thrash, it's not about Anambra anything, it's about trying to make a state ungovernable for the governor cause the governor challenged them. Earlier this year and last year, Imo state was their hot bed of attacks cause uzodimma didn't bend to their rules, ipob wanted to turn imo state to borno state until Hope invited the military to imo to deal with them, now imo state is now becoming a bit calm. They wanted to try the same shit with umahi but umahi formed ebubeagu to deal with them. Obiano gave them the ground in Anambra, he was not proactive like hope and umahi. Soludo knows the right thing to deal but he is still doesn't want to deal it yet. When he is serious with ipob, he will deal with them. |

kettykings: Why are you so quick to condemn your people? What makes you think it was an Igbo minority group that carried out the beheading of the lawmaker? With the level of attack that's happening in the SE, it may be some politicians from other regions that are trying to destabilize the SE for their own gain. For example, see how Gulak was assassinated in the South East, some politicians were blaming IPOB for the killing. How?! |

Rugaria: If you are as exposed as you claim, then you would know that Kanu or IPOB do not have the authority to make any demands from Nigeria on behalf of Igbos who already have a democratic and recognised constitutional leadership. Whatever Kanu or IPOB was up to is treason. The penalty for treason is death. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Odin13:this ipob thing no concern me and I regret to Chuck mouth put. Now ask yourself did ipob started as a violent organization before now? The answer I believe you know it, those countries you mentioned above are they sending arm men to gun down Dead the agitators who are only protesting with flag? The answer I believe you know. Now tell me what we see in our own beloved Nigeria, Boko Haram would have thought us a better lesson but our leaders I don't know how they think and who advises them. Our leaders have failed us and have kept failing us. Now with all the insecurities in the country all they do is pretend that all is well and prefer to fly hours miles to abudabi to pay condolence visit. No modern approach of governance, they still think we are in the 80ths where u lock up someone in the house and claim u are fighting corruption instead of building strong institution to fight crime and criminals we are busy building strong men, I hear some saying give them wike treatment. What if strong men like wike as some claim is no more what now happened to the criminals? Our leaders should borrow leave from the western world they often travel to for treatment and rest put more energy in governance and in creating strong modern institution than on presidency and on who succeed who as a governor. This criminal elements taken over our state knows the government than the government know themselves that why it seems they are triving. No intelligent report no proper investigation our security system have all been compromised the police rather believe in a road side story account than carry out an in-depth analysis and investigation that is why u see these criminals going Scott free after committing these crimes because they know that where it will end. Because ipob have come into play does it mean all other criminal elements have now repented and gone into extinsion? Ask yourself the the keffi local government chairman that is we're about is still unknown and his orderly killed was it also ipob that did it? Let those in authorities be serious with the assignment entrusted to them let the system be restructured that they must be accountability of every single office u once occupied and see all these criminal reduced drastically on it own. Let us tackle the root cause and forget about the effect. |

B2Bmen: Because the government knows the root cause of most of this problem and can’t solve it .. Boko haram is a kanuri fight Bandit in northwest is Fulani as Hausa fight Ebony communal killing is land matters Calabar ebony boundary still land matters Southern kaduna/ Jos .. still land matters .. All this can’t be solve with a million soldiers What the is IPOB problem ? |

Throwback:The penalty for treason is death and you have Kanu, right? Kill him naaa.. What are you afraid of? Kill him nothing will happen as you always say! Don't dramatize it.. IPOB has the authority to speak for the Igbos because most Igbos pay allegiance to it. The socalled elected representative of the igbos are nothing but political brats rocketed to different political positions in the land by a very vindictive federal regime that only rewards Igbo saboteurs with sickening political offices. We don't recognize such process, so we are not interested in whatever political phlegm it throws up. |

Rugaria: It is the court that will convict and he can explore appeal options to the highest court. If he explores all options and still remains convicted of treason, he will die except the government wants to apply clemency. FG has no say in who Igbos vote from their region to come to the center, or to lead the respective Igbo states. What IPOB has always done is insurrection. If they want change, they must effect change locally and democratically, and with such change ambassadors they can make demands on behalf of the people they constitutionally represent. Instead, IPOB has been trying to violently usurp power and forcefully claim that they are the true representatives of the Igbo people - that is a lie that is being enforced with terror. You are well travelled, so how does the government in the places you have resided, dealt with unrecognised groups who want to force their will on the larger population without any regard to the national constitution or established democratic process? Igbos are not a disenfranchised group in Nigeria like the blacks were in USA before voting rights, or the blacks in South Africa during apartheid. Igbos have their known and constitutional leadership that came about by virtue of democratic franchise. IPOB should get in line if it wants to become the legitimate leadership of the Igbos, and stop terrorising those who do not accord it any recognition or authority. Is it by force that IPOB must force its own will on those who have not made them their leader? When Igbo leaders/politicians are ready to exit Nigeria, they know the democratic/constitutional path to follow, like the Scottish elected leaders that failed to convince the Scotsmen from exiting UK, or the recognised regional leadership of autonomous Catalonia that tried to go outside of the Spanish constitution to secure their full sovereignty from Spain. In the case of IPOB, a deluded bunch of insurrectionist are insisting they must lead the people by force, and whatever they demand must be accepted by the national government that knows well they do not represent those they claim to. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Odin13:they know and I believe u also know it. They said they want a separate country of their own called baifra. Now the question u and I should be asking is why do they want out of a country we all shared together? This is were a round table should be called, what are the things u think we are not doing right as a body that now calls for succession agitation among us? Not when u know and I know with our open chest that Nigeria system of governance and government is not working instead of coming together to fixed it and find a solution that will be favourable to all some one will open his mouth and sey the unity of Nigeria is non negotiable because u are previlage to be ontop what about others who are not previlage enough who are facing the reality of life in the country? Is that statement a solution to a problem? We all need to think outside the box and call ourselves together to settle every decenting voice. Enough of all this violence and terrorism we the average Nigerias are feeling it more. U might not understand because u are either more previlage than we are. |

PaChukwudi44: IPOB shouldn't try to force ALL igbos towards BIAFRA. The Nigerian Federal ,State And Local Governments shouldn't try to force ALL igbos towards NIGERIA. As for me...., I shall be highly grateful if you would not refuse to assist my plans financially because of tribalstic manifestations. I don't think you would regret if you assist me. I always condemn those against me for expressing my willingness to accept financial support. It should not be well with their kidneys, hearts and livers for not being happy with my desire to get support. Their children should curse them for being against me because of this. Please, understand. |

Rugaria: If ANY Igbo falls this greatest setup of the century, then they need to hang their heads in shame! All you need do for a laugh is observe how all these threads about insecurity in the south-east have been flooded by bigoted, hypocritical schmucks, ‘advising’ Ndigbo to forget Mazi Kanu and IPOB…that they are the ones responsible for Igbo going about butchering their own kinsfolk….beheading them….filming the despicable act….and uploading it to social-media! The very people they want to help emancipate from the slave camp and killing field of ‘one Nigeria’! There’s a particular kind of malevolence, hate and evil -seen mainly in one group of people in their attacks on others- that it takes to go out….kidnap a person who you don’t know from Adam….gleefully torture and behead them…film the act….and upload to social-media for the entire world to see! Some jokers want the world to believe bands of Igbo are doing this to their own brothers and sisters!? Should that make sense to any gullible person willing to swallow all the lies and deceit these Igbo haters are churning out almost on a daily basis!? Looking back into the history of ethno-religious inspired violence in Nigeria -from the 50s to date- there is only one set of individuals capable of this kind of evil perversion! If anyone doesn’t know what their kinsfolk are and are not capable of, then that’s their lookout! I AND EVERY OTHER TRUE IGBO KNOW WHAT NDIGBO ARE CAPABLE AND NOT CAPABLE OF…and these sick attacks and cold-blooded murders of innocents for whatever political agenda -especially when said innocents are fellow Igbo- IS NOT SOMETHING NDIGBO ARE KNOWN FOR OR HAVE THE HEART TO COMMIT! 1 Like 1 Share |

SuperPanther: Two things: *They have not been given the time, space and support to operate freely, as Buhari and his goons see their existence as inimical to the interests of Fulani herdsmen in the south-east…and also when the murderous Nigerian army shoots them, they shoot back! *But more importantly, i suspect the so called UGM -that is, besides the few who could be Igbo elements attacking police and army personnel- are part of a powerful, clandestine and evil network of hegemonic killers embedded in the south-east. How can ESN effectively face shadowy forces that will dress up as IPOB/ESN…launch cowardly attacks….and then run back to the safety of army or police barracks in the region and blend in again as ‘innocent, diligent and patriotic’ personnel of Nigerian armed forces!? It’s been observed on numerous occasions, even in the Christian middle-belt, that attackers wear army uniforms, or that soldiers sent to ensure safety conveniently go AWOL when herdsmen or terrorists attack communities. |
