September 26th-29th, 2022 has been slated for the maiden edition of Nigeria - Burundi Business Summit billed to take place in Bujumbura.

In a statement released by the Embassy of Nigeria in Bujumbura, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nigeria to the Republic of Burundi, His Excellency Amb. Elijah Onyegba PhD stated that the Embassy is working with
State Governments, Federal Agencies, relevant Ministries and Parastatals like Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) and the Chambers of Commerce in different cities in Nigeria to ensure a robust attendance.

These are massive investment opportunities across several sectors within the two blocs available for Nigerian investors to consider.*

_He called on interested investors who wish to take advantage of the vast business and economic opportunities in the East African nation to approach the Nigerian Embassy for registration and participation. It is expected that the Nigeria - Burundi Business Summit will produce tangible results in the areas of job creation and local content development. These will in turn generate more business and economic activities between the two economies so as to revitalize the true spirit of Pan Africanism!_
