I can dye my hair if I want though I haven't. I wear wigs and weaves whose colours contrast with the tone of my skin. I wear waist beads. I am married. I'm 95% responsible and efficient at work, not one query in my file for all the years. In my first year, I won the staff of the year award. I've won it several times after.

Now the question, would you crucify me, refuse to hire me for being a tattoo-wearing, multiple piercings fielding business executive? It's your loss bro.

And the man that married me? It's been a decade now. We renewed our vows just yesterday on his birthday. He can't wish for another. I'm a Big asset in the marriage.

Those things don't define you. They don't debilitate you in anyway, rather they enhance. Everyone should be free to express themselves in whatever way that pleases them. Just know how to dress to different places where you need to be. That's my take. Again, keep an open mind, you will see beyond your nose if you do.

You didn't answer my question. I asked would YOU employ someone like that? or would YOU be comfortable if your daughter or sister follows someone like that? Does your husband have tattoos or does he keep dreads? Is your tattoo visible to those in your work place? Do you wear your leg chain visibly to work?
