Governor Ganduje of Kano state sympathised with the Kano Sabon Gari blast victims which destroyed a Primary School and claimed atleast 4 lives. While receiving the victims at the Kano state government house, he pledged a sum of 1 million to each of the victims. He assured the people of Sabon gari and Kano as a whole, his dedicated service and commitment to the betterment and security of lives and property under his jurisdiction.
Kano has been under relative peace for the past few years, despite its proximity to Nigeria's North Eastern Insurgency plagued region to the east and the wave of Banditry in the North West.
The blast which occurred last week, is still a shocking news across the nation due to its coincidence to the Deborah blasphemy incident and with the police claiming it to be only a gas explosion.
