News coming in from the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium (Liberty Stadium) Ibadan indicates that the APC gubernatorial primaries has been suspended. No official reasons(s) has been given for the suspension of the primaries. Feelers indicates that the postponement may not be unconnected with crowd control issues as unaccredited person's populated the main bowl of the stadium, venue of the Primary elections while accredited delegates have been stranded outside the stadium.
Meanwhile there had been complains from aspirants about the Party Executives refusal to make the delegates list available to the contestants, a probable reason from the withdrawal of Chief Niyi Akintola from the race earlier in the day.
