Nigerian feyenoord forward Cyriel Desser equalize for Nigeria with a heading from a cross from one of our defender after a goal down.

But unfortunately,our defender Troost Ekong has made an own goal to make it 2-1 in favour of Mexico.
Our formation is quite new

4.2.2.2 formation been introduced by our new coach Paseiro.

Eagles are not well known to be using this kind of formation and it's telling in them. We only have few shots on goals. Our ball possession is low as Nigeria is just chasing the ball on the pitch.

Despite the terrible start to the game, I have been highly impressed with iwobi and Calvin basset, they have been our best players so far. Just wish we had more fire power in our squad
